The first writing instrument dedicated to the “Hippocratic Oath”, its theoretical foundation that is based Medical School. Hippocratica by Hippocrates of Kos is considered to be the founder of medical science, he revolutionized the concept of medicine as distinct from other fields, thus establishing medicine as a profession.
Hippocrates invented the medical records, theorized the need to rationally observe patients taking notes and transcribing the appearance and symptoms and introduced, for the first time, the concepts of diagnosis and prognosis. On its theoretical foundation the School of Medicine is based, the first and most important medical institution in Europe in the Middle Ages (XI century), and as such is considered by many to be the forerunner of modern universities.
The pen is made of special resin turned by hand from solid bar and mirror finished, the dark blue pearl and red distinguish the classic lines of this collection.
