Midori A5 Notebook blank

Indeed does this paper write extremely well. It is a good size, the bookmark is very useful and is fastened to the notebook. I like Midori paper the very best to write on, along with Pappersbruk. I use almost exclusively fountain pens (or dip pens), in various nib sizes. But also for pencil it works well! (And rollerball or ballpoint I suppose).

I have experienced feathering only minimally, and then only with the one ink which I have that is problematic no matter which paper or nib...
There is no bleedthrough that I've managed to make, but I have to say that with darker inks, there can be show-through (you see a hint of the text on the other side of a paper). For me, this is not a very big issue, but it is worth noting.

The minimalistic cover is durable and discreet, you could fold a paper cover for it or put it in a book cover, if you like. Included are a few simple stickers to write for example "volume" or "title" on. I have not had problems with pages falling out or the spine deteriorating.

I thoroughly recommend any Midori notebooks for fountain pen users.

The paper writes very well with my fountain pens. The notebook opens very flat, so it is easy to write on each page. The cover is made of minimalistic cardboard. This makes it easy to put in a fancy leather cover if you want (but I do not need that).
