El Geplaatst op 17-05-2022 My Faber Castell Grip is of a different colour, but otherwise just the very same. And oh, it's good. I would rate it over most other "budget pens" +/- €10, even. The grip is better and softer than the Lamy Safari's or AL-star's, and the nibs have never needed adjusting the way I've had to deal with the "ordinary" Lamy nibs (sometimes scratchy), but always written well out of the box.I say "always" because I bought two, one for me and one as a gift, and was incredibly happy with them. I have also tried another, which is what made me buy them in the first place. The nibs are unexpectedly soft and bouncy, for being steel nibs (I like them better than some other, a bit more expensive, alternatives!), and the flow of ink is really good. One had some weakness in the plastic, and the pen broke just where the threads on the section starts. This was after only about two days of usage. But when I contacted Fontoplumo, I received swift response, and great customer service! In fact, that is always the case, I find, with Fontoplumo.Anyway: It's worth having one Faber Castell Grip, rather than several cheaper, or even a few types of more expensive, pens.
