Guy Geplaatst op 18-01-2016 when my pen (liliput fireblue) arrived today, there was still enough ink in the nib from your test to write more than a notepad page despite it just traveling by air thousands of miles. i usually go with a /M/ nib or a stub, but the /F/ 14k nib you so kindly mounted for me seems to be a perfect match for this pen. the pen wrote without skipping a dot until it ran dry and then it stopped. i think only one character faded out. i then put in a j herbin 'blue provencal' (sp?) cartridge and the pen picked right up and started writing smoothly and within a few words took on the lighter blue color of the new ink.couldn't be happier with the purchase, the price, the service, and the shipping. again, can't thank you enough for the great service. /guy"
Jamie Geplaatst op 20-11-2015 Kaweco's steel nibs are good, often they respond to a tweak but the 14k nib is a different proposition that makes a difference to the feel as well as the performance of the pen it's fitted to. I've tried this in both my Dia 2 and Brass Sport, in both pens the greater flow and softer feel made a difference to the whole experience. I'd recommend it for either of them. I got a medium, because I had read that the gold B and BB nibs were both on the broad side for their designation and I wanted it for an every day writer, not just for fun... I would judge the line width of the medium as closer to that of the steel broad nib than the steel medium. It also writes a significantly wetter line. Fontoplumo had this on back order and due to the holidays at the time of my order it took a few weeks to arrive though it was worth the wait, especially as it fits so many of their pens."
