I pre-ordered it and got the per-order discount from Frank. Unfortunately, the Pelikan delayed the shipment of the pen, and it arrived with Frank later than it should have.

The colour is gorgeous, but it would have been more so, if not for the white stripes. The white stripes make the red colour appear pinkish.

As for the nib, it wasn't well-tuned out of the box. It was scratchy in some angles. Had to work on it to tune it. Had requested Frank to ensure that there are no issues with the nib, but I guess that remained to be done before shipping.

Overall, happy with the purchase.
