A classic celluloid reborn
Grigio Perla celluloid first came onto the market after production was finished in the year 1932. Although it was featured heavily on pens of the time, when customers tended to prefer monochrome pens, Grigio Perla really started to shine with the release of the Cinema pen. The Cinema pen was released to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the “birth date” of modern cinema in 1995, paying homage to the fact that film itself is likewise created with cellulose nitrate. Nearly thirty years later, the material can shine again.
88 pieces of the Paragon have been carved out of this understatedly beautiful celluloid and, for the first time, has been married to black ruthenium plated furniture and nibs.
