Kaweco Sport Coral Guilloche Gold fountain pen - F

I like Kaweco Sport so much, so when I noticed Fontoplumo has its exclusive edition I bought it immediately!
It writes so good, nib is smooth and buttery (I own a B) and I'm truly in love with this gorgeous colour.

Superb pen, which Fontoplumo has given a really great twist. If only there would be a reissue of Sunrise as well I would be so happy...

Erg leuke pen, de koraalkleur is wat lichter dan de andere ecoral van Kaweco.
Ik vond de penpunt wat dik voor F. Kon er nog een ruilen met een andere pen.
Schrijf er graag mee.

1. colour is less bright than in picture 2. colour is very beautiful still, especially with the gold trims. 3. The Guilloche pattern is fitting the colour and also soft and makes the otherwise bland Kaweco Sport more sophisticated. 4. The Guilloche pattern also helps with the very common problem of the Kaweco Sport: scratches, especially near the point where the cap posts. 5. The ""CORAL by fontoplumo"" branding is too bold and really is redundant and a nuisance. 6. The price is slightly too high.

Frank's done it again! A really unique colour to add to the increasing number of Kaweco Sport special editions with wonderful detail and accents. The coral/Guilloche blend is inspired

I love the way that this pen looks. It has striking contrast with the peach and gold finishes for the body, nib, and detailing. While this pen looks beautiful, it does not write as well as I thought it would. I started using this pen (I ordered it with an extra-fine nib) with an Robert Oster Signature orange ink and sometimes this pen struggles to put enough ink on the page so that it shows up clearly. I am unsure whether this is simply an issue with the ink I used or whether the pen just needs some "break-in" time but either way I really enjoy using this pen to journal each day.

Beautiful colour and unusual textured design. The broad gold coloured nib writes extremely smoothly with no skips or hard starts. I had moved away from Kaweco a bit due to bad writing experiences, but this has changed my mind! I love it, and great service throughout.

I ordered the Kaweco Sport Coral Guilloche in the gold trim variation. The quality and finish of the pen are as expected, and the pen wrote well out of the box. The only slight disappointment is that the color is lighter than it appears in the photographs on the website. It is still beautiful, but not as rich a tone as expected. It pairs beautifully with Diamine Coral ink.

Kaweco had been on my radar for a while, but having larger hands was somewhat hesitant. But decided to test the waters with this special edition. It does not disappoint, when posted it is comfortable in the hand, the section is a bit on the smaller side, but works amazingly well. I chose the broad nib and am very happy with my choice.
