The Sailor King of Pens fountain pen is made out of ebonite and features a large 21c gold, bicolor nib cut to Naginata Togi shape by Sailor craftsmen.
Naginata Togi nibs provide a thinner vertical stroke and thicker horizontal stroke.
As ebonite is a natural material, very occasionlly foreign substances or pin holes may be seen. This is part of the character of the material and not a defect.
