The Gioia Alleria Pompeii is a fountain pen inspired by the yellow of the Pompeii Yellow and the black by the many meters of vulcanic ash and stone which covered it after the volcanic eruption in 79 AD.
The pen is made from resin and features a piston filling system, an ink window to see the ink level, a piston wrench tool and steel nib. The cap band is crafted using the lost wax technique.
From an idea of Fabio Cervasio and the collaboration of great master craftsmen with twenty years of experience in the pen production sector, "GIOIA writing emotion" was born with Neapolitan genius and imagination. As early as 2014, Gioia Pen Italia's technical laboratory and artisan workshop began on commissions for well-known Italian, international and institutional brands, to design and produce wonderful writing instruments. Gioia Pen Italia produces fountain pens, rollerballs and ballpoint pens with rigorous quality controls, hand turned from bars full of resins produced in Italy, ebonite, celluloid etc., with the aid of mechanisms, nibs and refills recognized throughout the world. Finally, in 2020, Gioia Pen Italia has decided to get the attention of the whole world.
Gioia means Joy in Italian and is pronounced 'Joya'
