A special spiritual concept from ancient Japan.

I purchased this pen this weekend at the Dallas Pen Show. I think they're ugly in the pictures but in person, both are really beautiful. I saw them about 5 months ago in a pen shop and played with a green one for over an hour. I finally talked myself out of it due to the price, but I couldn't stop thinking about it.
When I saw it again at the pen show, I struggled again with the price (I've never spent that much on a single pen) but finally gave in to it. I LOVE it!!
Interestingly, I saw 2 versions of the green: one very dark (nearly black) and more subtle, the other more of a jade green. Very different! The red was dark and also beautiful.
