David Snyder Placed on 15-12-2023 The Pilot Custom 845 Urushi is a classic flat top shape. Its length is the same as a Pelikan M800, but it is slightly smaller in diameter. It is flawless in fit and finish. The #15 18Kt Pilot nibs are wonderful writers - very slightly springy rather than nail-like. It would be nice if this model came with the full range of Pilot #15 nibs.I ordered mine with a BB nib and a custom cursive italic grind, and, as usual, the work done by Fontoplumo's "Nib whisperer" is excellent.
