Leonardo Officina Italiana
A family tradition continued. With over 45 years of experience in the field of writing instruments, handed down from father to son, from generation to generation.
Today Leonardo Officina Italiana works on emotional and vintage projects, taking up the old loading systems, the materials and the working techniques that once characterized the craft of the craftsman. The Leonardo pens have a soul, a human warmth that only passion can give.
Each Leonardo collection is manually made in Italy, and all pens are guaranteed for life against any manufacturing defect.
As the material has a lot of colors and flakes. The image is one example, no two pens will be the same.

Momento Zero Red Marbled Fine Nib
The pen indeed looks nice, better than on the photo. There is an interesting play in the marbled resin pattern.
Solid, large-ish in my hands.
Phenomenal! Smooth and springy.
Great Pen, Great Price, Great Service
This is a great pen at a great price, and Frank's assistance and responsiveness are excellent. This pen is a very wet and very smooth writer. This is my second Momento Zero, and I have plans to get two more. The pen is relatively light, nice in hand (the section is a bit wide at first for its weight but now that I am used to it other pens feel uncomfortable). I have always treasured my Homo Sapiens and my Pelikan 800s and 600s, but this pen writes smoother and wetter than those at a fraction of the cost. These steel nibs are incredibly well tuned. The only missing element, to me, is it is not a true piston filler. The blind cap allowing control of the converter is a nice touch, but still not quite the same. The Momento Zero is an excellent package and has easily become my "go to" among my seeming vast collection. I'm assuming the Leonardo Furore writes and feels the same as the nib, feed, and section are the same, so it is just a matter of which design appeals visually. I'm very curious about the true piston fillers in the Momento Zero line (which have 14k nibs) but at four times the price, how much better can they be? Plus, I don't purchase pens at that price point without being able to hold them in my hand and dip them first. Bottom line, if you are considering this pen, there is nothing that compares to it at this price that writes as smooth and wet as the Momento Zero. I can compare directly to Esterbrook, Diplomat, Conklin, TWSBI, and many others. If you like a wet and smooth pen, this is heads and shoulders above anything else in its price range, and those well above its price.
Goood pen!! But....
The marbled barrel is very fantastic!!
But tne nib condition is terrible. I think nib QC is bad.
Please check the nib condition.
I want to change the nib. but changing is inconvenient.
Great pen, beautifully made
The pen came quickly and it is fast becoming a favorite. Well balanced, and so attractive.
Beautiful Pen and Excellent Service
This was my second Leonardo pen and this one is just as beautiful as the first. It has a very smooth steel nib (broad) and writes beautifully. Even better than the pen was the service. Fontoplumo is one of the best online retailers and I will definitely order from Frank again. Wonderful experience.
There was ink left in the converter. You should wash the pen thoroughly before shipping.
Thank you for reply.
It seems that someone used this pen, I think.
Thank you for your review.
It is odd that there was ink left, and I agree that this should not be the case. I will try and found out how this could have happened to make sure this does not happen again.
Beautiful pen for dramatic handwriting
I ordered the stub nib. This is an Italian stub (close to an italic than a stub) that draws a very sharp 1.1 mm wide line. In writing, it writes very similar to the 1.1 mm nib in my old (lost in 2015) TWSBI Vac - this is intended to be a compliment. As a stub, it is quite demanding of the ink, and the feed has been able to keep the nib inked (filled with Lamy T37 ink). There is a sweet spot, somewhere small, but does exist. When held at the sweet spot, the nib writes wonderfully smooth. I wish it could be a little wetter, but need to experiment with different inks. All in all, a nice stub that provides a pleasant writing sensation.
The pen is pretty - not the flashy kind of pretty, but a subtle, classic beauty that I don't get tired of looking. I am so pleased with this pen (and the blue Hawaii with B nib) that I am going to order a yellow pen before the stock is depleted.
