Wow! This is really pretty!

I hard a hard time deciding what color of Art Sport to get. I hardly ever choose anything in yellow but I had read a review where someone had compared the acrylic on this Amecitrin pen to old fashion ribbon candy and I thought that sounded cheery and fun. And that it is! I have been liking the combination of yellow and gray lately so I have it filled with Noodler's Lexington Gray ink and assigned it a little black leather case. The yellow swirls really shine against the black case. I could see switching the ink to something more whimsical in the Spring, maybe my go to Turquoise?

The weight is quite similar to the regular Art Sport, although the higher quality acrylic somehow feels more dense and is definitely smoother and more finished. Very precise.

I ordered the Extra Fine nib and found it to be a little broader then the Extra Fine on my regular Sports. To me it writes more like a fairly generous Fine, which I guess would not be unusual for a German nib. The nib itself appears to me to be the same nib as on the regular Sport but the feeds on the two pens are a little different. The Art Sport has some horizontal steps at the base and the Kaweco logo imprint. Perhaps this feed is designed for a little wetter flow? I don't really know but the more generous line does not bother me. It is only slightly heavier and very smooth with excellent flow.

This pen had to be special ordered from Kaweco. Frank thoughtfully kept me informed every step of the way. Excellent communication and customer service as well as very favorable pricing.
