It was in 1910 that Kaweco first produced a Liliput fountain pen, at that time made out of ebonite. After that came the remake of this series is made of solid aluminium and avalable as a fountain pen with steel nib and a ballpoint pen. Now there is this version in solid steel. Only 97 mm long when closed, the Liliput is one of the smallest fountain pens for standard ink cartridges.
As the steel is not coated, it will develop a patina over time. In case you'd not want that, it can be easily polished.

The Liliput Fireblue fountain pen is treated with a flame torch by Kaweco employees. All are made by hand and colors may vary widely from each pen. No two pens will be the same.

Colors you may find in the pen are silver, blue, purple, brown, orange ..

Very nice pen

So glad that I bought this, very pretty and smooth while writing.

beautiful little pen which writes great!

the sample i got didn't have the color of some of the photos online, but the patterns are striking and i love the look of the pen.

i paired this with the /F/ 14k nib you so kindly mounted for me and which seems to be a perfect match for this pen.

the pen wrote with the ink you dipped it in when you mounted the nib without skipping a dot until it ran dry and then it stopped. i think only one character faded out. i then put in a j herbin 'blue provencal' (sp?) cartridge and the pen picked right up and started writing smoothly and within a few words took on the lighter blue color of the new ink.

couldn't be happier with the purchase and the price. and it arrived at a speed i didn't even think possible when coming from the nl to the us.

this kaweco hopefully will be my new ultra-compact, carry-everywhere pen. i hate to bang up such a beautiful pen, but it deserves to write and not just sit in a box for admiration.

again, can't thank you enough for the great service.

Stunning tiny pen

This is my first Liliput line of Kaweco I've ever bought. Actually, I have many Kaweco pens in Sport Line. But this pen is really different from others in a unique way. That's what Fireblue stands for ^^

For a pen as a total, the size is really amazing small but once you use it with the cap on. Everything from weight and balance in your hand is perfect.

The only minor complaint is it's quite small and no clip available for this model.
