Caran d'Ache 849 Memories of Delft special edition

The Memories of Delft pen was born out of a collaboration between Holthinrichs Watches and Fontoplumo, both located in Delft, the Netherlands. Just like the pen’s abstract artwork itself, the two brands cherishing beauty got together organically.
The graphic design embodies the artisanal history of Delft, which is modernized on the dial of a Holthinrichswatch, and is reminiscent to the natural flow of ink from a fountain pen.

Special edition of 400 pieces, exclusively sold at Fontoplumo.
The chosen colors, white and dark blue what also refers to another product Delft known for, Delft blue porcelain.

It all started with this watch, and the watch, plus Michiel Holthinrichs love for the Caran d'Ache 849 shape became the inspiration of the pen.
