The resurgence of Omas fountain pens in its new form is a testament to the dedication and commitment of the founder's family to preserving the brand's heritage.

The heritage of this brand is deeply rooted in the historical city of Bologna, where the craftsmanship of pen-making has been passed down through generations.

The new fountain pens will be manufactured in the very same building where their pens have been made for many years, starting in 1925 and by many people involved in production right until the moment that production stopped.

The family is very dedicated to make high quality products with materials used in the past, as their cotton resin and even making their own nibs again, with gold alloys as used by Mr Simoni and welding the tips pretty much in the same way as then. And building on the design of the time and bring back the original piston filling mechanism.

The 1st pen made is a limited edition of just 125 pieces, with a name commemorating the opening of the current factory 15 June 1925, 150625. It is made of cotton resin, with a 0,3mm thin titanium sleeve and original nibs made in 1939. A beautiful pen honoring tradition and modern technology and a pleasure to write with. It is in our store until Wednesday 10 September and available for pre order at this moment.
