Gravitas Pocket Raw Brass

A highly portable and durable pocket pen, expertly designed for those constantly on the move. Precisely machined from a solid bar of Brass the cap and barrel offer a smooth finish without being polished - Gravitas implemented the use of specialised cutting knifes and precision lathes that results in parts that are machined to a polish texture. Leaving it exposed and open for patina which is a natural oxidation process of the exposed raw brass metal. With time and handling each fountain pen like this is becoming uniquely yours.

*Brass naturally develops wear marks and color changes with regular use. In the process of packing we handle these writing instruments which may arrive on your side with more or less visible patina - this is a natural process which doesn't consist in a call on warranty or replacement.

The cap is featuring a Delrin sleeve (soft posting / improved cap seal) and ACME threads. The Pocket’s cap features triple-start threads, smoothly unscrews in just 1.5 turns, with one side machined flat to act as a practical roll stop. When posted, the Pocket transforms into a full-sized writing instrument for comfortable use.

The section is made from Stainless steel 304. Enhanced by micro-machined grooves, it provides a secure and comfortable hold during writing.

The fountain pen is fitted with a size 6 steel nib and ABS plastic feeder, compatible with Jowo No. 6 threads. It offers various nib sizes, including Extra Fine, Fine, Medium and Broad. Each Pocket fountain pen includes a standard international cartridge converter provided.
