De TWSBI Swipe is een 'traditionele' vulpen die gebruikt kan worden met een inktpatroon of een converter. Het verschil is dat de meegeleverde converter een veerconverter is. De converter wordt gevuld door de achterkant van de converter in te drukken en los te laten, wanneer de penpunt in inkt is ondergedompeld. Er wordt ook een inktpatroon meegeleverd.
Naast de veerconverter kan de pen ook gebruikt worden met standaard internationale converters.
