LAMY safari Song Dynasty White Jade fountain pen

I'm glad that Fontoplumo had this in stock, so that I could have it shipped to the US. The box is so pretty, I have it displayed up, and the little carrying case has such a beautiful design. The pen itself is a joy to write on. I'm glad I picked this up as my first Safari pen, as I have recently been getting into stationery.

Song Dynsty Azure Sky is a matt-finish Lamy Safari and the EF nib writes as fluidly and thinly as usual, even with inks from other manufacturers. The color, however, is the most incredibly beautiful blue that Lamy has ever released! The gray-green of the cross cap and ring matches it perfectly. You should know that the box is not made of real wood, but it is still beautiful, as is the pretty and sturdy case. I'm so glad to be able to add this beauty to my safari collection :)

I love this limited edition. Beautiful fountain pen, nice color. the pen case is gorgeous an dthe box that comes with is gorgeous.

Love this pen! I will say in the picture the pen looks more white with a slight gray tint but in real life the pen is very gray (almost greige). Definitely would not have named it white jade personally. Still a beautiful pen and the case is gorgeous but the color is a bit deceiving. Writes wonderfully though!

Like the Azure Sky Variety this one is a gorgeous Edition as well. I would have liked a golden or bronze Clip a Bit better than this yellowish one but that is just a minor squabble. The pen is an excellent EDC fountain pen, writes well and with the matching case you are for sure a very stylish member of your class/group/course. Hopefully LAMY will issue similar editions in the future.

The Song Dynasty Lamy Safari is an absolute beauty! Pretty quick delivery, nicely packaged and the pen is exceptional. My F nib was a bit lacking in terms of smoothness but I didn't expect a great nib, since I was thinking of exchanging it with one of my own nibs. I got this limited edition for the box alone, which was made following the traditional art of Japanese kumiko. One of the best unboxing experiences I had. But the pen is so beautiful that the price is worth it!

Beautiful Safari in a beautiful matte white body, green details and sandcolored clip. It comes in a beautiful box and a lovely matching pen case. It is made for the China and Hong Kong market. I love this special edition and that Fontoplumo was able to get some for the European market. It's Lamy so that means a reliable writer. Normally you have to order a converter separately but in for this edition the converter is included

Sing a song of Safari. It’s a Safari, but not as we know it! Who says packaging is not important? Of course, in the end, this is just a Lamy Safari. But in this case, the packaging makes all the difference. The box, with its delicate patterning, is a delight. Inside, the The Pen case, with, again its subtle but alluring patterns, can only make you smile and enjoy The Pen even more. Finally The Pen, yes, it’s a Lamy Safari, But with subtle variations. A subtle touch of Green at the finial and section break, a clip with just a little touch of difference in colour, all adds to the allure and attraction of this song dynasty package. Well worth it.

Een Lamy Safari is altijd een fijne pen om mee te nemen zonder je zorgen te maken en lekker door te schrijven op plekken met een andere ondergrond dan anders, maar wat was deze uitvoering en verpakking een prettige verrassing! Een schitterend doosje en een prachtig etuitje voor de pen, waar nog een tweede pen bij past. het heeft mijn verwachtingen overtroffen. Nu mezelf nog inhouden de andere niet ook aan te schaffen ;-)
