LAMY Al-star Glossy Red is a special edition, made in a very limited quantity.

This beautiful pen comes with 2 sections, 1 for yellow tone inks and another for other color inks. It also has a mtching notebook to go with it.

The Lamy AL-star is the attractive, young writing instrument that meets even the highest demands. With striking and transparent grip recesses and self-springing metal clip. Made of lightweight, robust aluminum, anodised in various colors.
The pen uses Lamy cartridges / refills. A converter can be ordered separately.

I'm always excited to receive a package from Fontoplumo in the Netherlands. Frank always has some unique Lamy pens that are not available in the States. The brilliant red is awesome for the Alstar and the bright yellow grip section really pops. Absolutely perfect addition to my collection. Thank you, Frank!

Great addition to the Al-Star series!

Not only the colour is truly different from the previous Al-Star red editions (Ruby or Raspberry), but the glossy finish makes it stand out! While at first glance it might make you think of a Safari finish, upon closer inspection and actual feel the pen is quite different.

And the two neon yellow grip pieces with their different coloured feed sections are a really nice unique touch. I am hoping this becomes something more common to be able to order the grip sections and feeds in these or other different colours to customize different Al-Star fountain pens.
