The Ink is being absorbed into the paper right after putting the nib onto the paper, which results with sever feathering and no sheen even with "sheen monsters". This happens even when using relatively "better" ink. The performance is better than a thin paper like newspaper's paper (but really not justifies the price). This may be different with another Lamy notebook as I see more positive reviews online. The grid is not as elegant as other ruling methods like regular grid notebooks, lines, dots or the best: the grid of Japanese notebooks. Other than that, the design is beautiful, the coarse feel of the cover is really nice and retro-like and the turquoise colour is pleasant.
