Caneta-tinteiro Pilot Custom 823 preta

The Pilot Custom 823 is, in my opinion, a classic. It has a highly functional and high capacity filling system and an excellent 21Caret nib. Its one shortcoming for me has been its limited nib selection. I finally gave up waiting for Pilot to offer a Stub or Music nib for this pen and ordered one with a Broad nib and had Fontoplumo's talented nib technician grind it to my preferred cursive italic. I had high expectations, given my past delight with his custom grindings for me, and the pen does write beautifully. Note that the feed does take 24-36 hours to saturate and give optimal performance. I think this pen will be a workhorse for me, especially for travel because of its excellent ink capacity and the filling system's protection from leakage.
