Sailor 1911 Naginata King Eagle fountain pen

The King Eagle nib has made a comeback for the first time in 10 years!

The King Eagle nib is crafted by layering three nib sheets at the tip, with a pen point that is even taller than that of a Cross Point nib.

It produces especially bold horizontal strokes and allows the writer to enjoy dynamic line variation depending on the writing angle and direction.

With its high ink flow, it glides smoothly even on rough-textured paper such as washi. The writing experience is reminiscent of that of a traditional brush.

The Sailor special nibs are highly appreciated by writing enthusiasts because they have many nibs with special writing characteristics. Because of the large success this led to production problems with the regular pens and therefore the availability now is very limited. 
Fortunately we are now able to offer these pens.

The nibs are handmade in 21k gold and provided with a beautiful logo. The strap on the cap says 'Special Nib'.
