Nice turquoise, quality presentation
This is a medium-light turquoise with a lot of nice shading. I'd say the performance of the ink is similar to other good quality turquoise inks. I have a soft spot for shading turquoise inks :) The price is a bit high but the presentation is quite exclusive. First of all the slanted bottle is really practical and makes it easy to fill up your pen. The bottle looks very unique. The packaging is well thought out and the box perfectly matches the bottle. It holds the slanted bottle in an upright position. The whole thing feels quality. The bottle is solid, the cap is heavy and is made of real metal (there is a plastic inner lining), the box is made of nice paper and has debossed metallic print on it. The box even has an inner rubber piece to protect the cap. I think it's nice to have one of these Caran d'Ache Chromatics inks, because the inks are good + the box and the bottle looks great on any desk.
