De TWSBI Diamond 580 is made of transparent plastic, which provides a wonderful view on the inside of the pen, the piston mechanism and ink level. The AL version is equipped with a metal section and metal parts in the piston mechanism. With the TWSBI 580 AL R special series the metal parts of the section, cap and the ring at the piston know are in the special color.
The pen’s character will change with every other color you fill it with.
For the adventurous people, the pen is easy to take apart for servicing or cleaning. A key and silicone grease are provided with the pen.
