The Ulpia 117 are divided into three parts:
The body and cap: made of the best quality ebonite. Ebonite is vulcanized natural rubber known for its special luster and warm touch, highly prized by collectors. It has been used in fountain pens since the late 19th century.
Threaded clip and ring: made of solid brass and engraved with a diamond point, they are later hand polished and plated in 24 carat gold
Nib: Fundamental element of writing. The steel Jowo nib is engraved with the Ulpia emblems are plated in platinum and 18k gold, available in different widths.
Each fountain pen is checked for correct writing.
