Sonja Geplaatst op 21-07-2023 The paper is a bit rougher on one side than the other. All ink properties such as shading, shimmer or sheen show up well and the size is exactly right.

It's thinner than I expected but ink doesn't bleed through it and I also haven't experienced any feathering.I don't use the cards on the ring though. I keep my cards in a card holder booklet because I prefer the cards to be flat.I was very pleased with my order.

Cheetarah Geplaatst op 21-07-2022 I picked up a few of these when I was in the store a little while ago and I still love using them as a swatch/organizing tool for my inks. The paper is wonderful (its watercolor paper made by a local mill near Ana of the WAD!) and it shows the properties of the ink quite well. Esp handy if you like using inks in your artwork! I also love that you can, through Fontoplumo, support a small maker that brought so much wealth of information into the hobby :)

Luc Geplaatst op 14-04-2019 It's a simple ring with a bunch of swatch cards, and in that it's exactly what it claims to be. It's all well-made, feels solid, and makes it easy to compare colours, organise them in whichever way you wish, or just display your collection in an aesthetically-pleasing manner (or at least it is for me!). If anything I just wish the paper was a smidge less textured, but that's just personal preference. In all reality though I'm very much pleased with this, and will no-doubt buy another once the one I'm using right now is full.
