This fountain pen uses Lamy cartridges and one blue cartridge is included when you receive the pen. A converter is available separately, for the CP!, the Z27 converter is the one that fits (the one with the black end).
As with most Lamy pens, the nibs are easily interchangeable.
Lamy tests all their fountain pens before they leave the factory, a small amount of ink residue may be visible on the pen's nib and or feed.
